Hey everyone,

I just wanted to start a thread for everyone applying to GWC this month so we can answer each other's questions, share our points, and check status' if we wind up on the alternate list.

No mail for me today and I am feeling hopeless! :-( It seems to me which all the acceptance letters were sent out first since many of you have got accepted.

It does kinda seem like that. Ugh!!!! I don't know what to think. It shouldn't take a week for a letter to get to Santa Ana (92707) from HB. Just gonna try to do things to keep my mind off of it until tomorrow.

@Mgutierrez, We have 2 more days to hope. I felt the same as you did as I live in GG. It shouldn't take this long if all the letters were sent out in the same day.

For those of you who got into Fall, did you guys have all your classes finished? like speech and dev psych etc?

yes I have all of my classes done. I'm gonna take Pharm in the summer and want to take Patho too but it's not offered in the summer :(

leepanda, CNA- ahh, dang i'm finishing those classes by the end of summer.

where is patho offered normally? I couldn't find that class offered anywhere :o

I know GWC offers it during the regular semester. Not a whole lot of places offer Pharm and Patho. I'm even considering taking Patho alongside regular nursing classes in the Fall. But that will mean quitting my job :(

Is pharm compulsory or just reccomended? Yeah it seems like those who finished Comm and Psy are more likely to accepted in Fall.

Pharm and Patho are both recommended. My friends who are already in the program told me that they are really helpful. That's why I want to take them.

I called the office, they said all the letters were sent the same day. So if you haven't gotten one, it's not about what the letter says, it's about how fast your mail carrier walks. I'm going to wait for mine outside tomorrow. Maybe follow him around the neighborhood. Keep your chins up!
