I just wanted to start a thread for everyone applying to GWC this month so we can answer each other's questions, share our points, and check status' if we wind up on the alternate list.

It looks like I'm adding up to 60 points. I'm so excited to get started, but I hate all the waiting.

This is going to be my second attempt. I was on the alternate list but they never did e-mail to to let me know if i'd get in so i'm going to re-apply and try my luck again!

I see you tried cypress also? Me too and They put me on the wait list for fall 2016! >.

How many points do you have for gwc this year? Cypress put me on the "chronological waitlist" and SAC put me on the alternate list, but still hasn't called me. They start in less than a month so I'm getting ready apply to them again next month. I go to GWC so I would be over the moon if i got in there.

I am actually trying to figure that out right now. I don't remember exactly how many points I had last time I applied. I'm sure it wasn't enough since I was placed as an alternate. I know tomorrow is the first day they start accepting applications at GWC up until the 29th right?

Yea, you have a couple weeks. If you mail it, I believe it has to be postmarked by the 29th.

I'm a little obsessive with this kind of stuff so I've filled it out 3 times already, and I'm going tomorrow morning as soon as they open to turn it in. I end up waiting longer but once it's out of my hands, my mind is a little lighter.

That was actually my plan to turn stuff in tomorrow but I have to make sure I have everything they"re asking for right now! I hope I get in this time and I don't get placed on the alternate list again.

Same here, I think it really depends on who applies each semester. Let me know how many points you end up calculating

Sooo I have 48 points i might end up an alternate again ugh. I don't want to give up but its getting frustrating thatim still not in nusring this is my second time applying.

I know what you mean. This is going to be my second time applying, but first time applying to GWC. You can't give up though. Just hope for the best, and prepare for the worst. Keep working on getting more points while you're waiting to hear back.

I applied and I only have about 46 points. This is my first time that I'm applying. I'm still hopeful though! í ½í¸
