Hello All,

I had 64 points total. Was wondering if that was a good enough to get into the program? Has anyone heard back from GWC yet?

From my understanding, theyre actually not going to be contacting students this year. You just have to check their website after mid March for application status. They're probably some where close to being half done with the whole process.

I've heard every year is different, sometimes the amount of students accepted is dependent on the budget and grants they receive. Hopefully they get lots of money and accept a larger number of students this year

If you're like me and you're trolling the GWC website everyday you will have seen this, but if not, I just wanted to let you know they updated it yesterday with this message!

The School of Nursing application filing period for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 is closed. Do not contact the office for inquiries regarding the status of your application as this will delay our screening process. We will post an update when the notification letters have been mailed. Check back in mid-March. Thank you

I know it's old news but I get excited when they post updates, even when it's info I already know lol

I'm seriously counting down the weeks. Most of my co-worker know it's 5 more weeks! Judging by last year's thread, it's probably closer to 4 weeks, but if I count 4 and it ends up being 5, that last week will feel like it lasted a couple decades.

HI everyone! This will be my first time applying to GWC. I have a total of 56 points. Very disappointed in my total. I'm hoping to get on the alternate list. Also applied to SAC this week and had 73 points so I'm thinking I'll have a better chance there. I'm excited but nervous to hear back from GWC since that would be my first choice.

It looks like people got their letters around March 13th last year. Hoping we get ours even a few days sooner!

They also said last year that the website had been updated to say the letters were sent out on feb 27.... So hopefully that was yesterday for us! lol

just to give everyone a point reference..

I was going through the thread form last year and it looks like the lowest number of points that got in directly (not as an alternate) was 64 points. The year before that my friend got in as an alternate with about 60 points, and she's graduating this May.
