Golden West College Fall 2016, Spring 2017

I just wanted to start a thread for everyone applying to GWC this month so we can answer each other's questions, share our points, and check status' if we wind up on the alternate list.

Mail must have been picked up Monday because it take 1 to 3 days to mail something. Tomorrow HAS to be the day. If not, Thursday for sure. They are so behind, I can't even handle it. I wonder when orientation will be??

i got my acceptance! :) for spring 2017 tho . i wonder if you can request to do fall .

EDIT: i emailed them just now and they said no we cannot switch.

Yay! congrats! I didn't get anything today. Probably tomorrow, I don't live that far from school.

what did your letter say about those classes???

It said:

You are required to have completed Psychology G118- Lifespan Dev and Communications G110- Public Speaking before the start of Spring 2017. You cannot enroll in the first semester of Nursing without both courses completed with a C or better.

I have until May 16 to accept this space in Spring 2017 so I'm hoping for another program with Fall admittance.

Oh gotcha! Did it say anything about an orientation or information meeting???
