Hey everyone,

I just wanted to start a thread for everyone applying to GWC this month so we can answer each other's questions, share our points, and check status' if we wind up on the alternate list.

Hey guys! how's everyone holding up? i just wanted to share my excitement today. I got into Santa Ana College Nursing program!! I'm still hoping i get into gwc though.. we'll see. 3 more weeks!!!

sweet!! me too. I'm going to have to take my transcripts in on Monday so i can register for those classes.

let me ask you, if you get into gwc, would you pick gwc? or sac?

If I get into gwc fall Ill go to gwc. But if I get into the spring I'll stick with Santa ana. How about you?

Same, i don't want to wait 6 months, even if it is my home campus... hoping for fall. 3 WEEKS!!

i just ordered my transcripts to take over to SAC, so i think I'm going to stop by the nursing dept to check how they're doing. i won't call, but i don't mind popping in lol. The waiting is painful!!!

sorry, didn't mean to tease you! i haven't picked them up yet. they should be ready this week though. I'll let you guys know for sure!

YES! i went into the office today, the lady there was so nice. She told me that they had to postpone because they only have two people working on it, and they're in and out of meetings, and busy with other stuff. Then during spring break all their computers were down. They have the names picked out already but they are waiting for something from the admission center. They're going to make it so that people who do not have that psych class and communications class done will have to take those before the nursing program. So you have to get those done first. Because of that, the letters are going to be more personalized and specific to each person. They are shooting to be able to send the letters out next monday but it depends if admission gives them the info they need on time. She said hopefully the 25th, but you never know, things can happen and it could be the 29th or even later. But they are constantly updating the website so as soon as they send them out, they will post an update.
