Gloucester County 2013 Hopefulls!

Hey guys. If your like me and have trolled the threads looking for insight into GCC admission tips this is for you. I have not seen a post for GCC since 2011. So here is our chance to share tips and knowledge of the HESI, pre-reqs and the Admission Packet. Good luck to all.

So, the deadline is quickly approaching for the 2013 nursing program. I plan on submitting my packet tomorrow. Hopefully I'll make it in the program. I took the HESI and unfortunately cannot use those scores, because I didn't make the minimum on implications, but scored so high in everything else, which is a pain in the butt. But, I'm submitting scores that I passed, as well as an A in my sciences, and all I can do is pray and hope I get in. Is anyone else applying??

I applied with a 93% overall HESI score and an A in A&P. I'm so nervous I hope I get in

Hi Joannashaw, I'm sure you will get in. Those are really good scores. I applied with an 84% HESI and A's in the sciences, i'm nervous too

Hey guys. Both of you have outstanding scores and grades. I decided to attend a nursing schooling Philly. In the process of applying at GCC they told me that as long as the student passes the HESI and meets the GPA standard, then there should be no worries. They said they were able to accept every applicant that met those standards last year & expect the same this year. Best of luck.

Dannipoint, I decided to go to Roxborough school of nursing. It made the most sense for me considering I live downtown & have a daughter to get to school each day.
