Hey guys. If your like me and have trolled the threads looking for insight into GCC admission tips this is for you. I have not seen a post for GCC since 2011. So here is our chance to share tips and knowledge of the HESI, pre-reqs and the Admission Packet. Good luck to all.

It's alright.... I kind of figured maybe I wouldn't get accepted because I was accepted in 2011 and decided not to go. I'm looking into Jefferson's program though. Good luck to you Joannashaw! Do you know anyone else who got accepted?

I attempted the HESI exam at GCC 3 times. I missed chemistry the first time ( by a lot), the second two times, I literally missed 1 question in Vocabulary. I gave up and transferred to Rutgers or else I would have been at GCC for 4 years.

The hesi is not easy. They tell you to buy this one book ( a book that sponsors the HESI) BUT you have to teach yourself a lot. I had to teach myself chemistry and physics. I will say that the vocabulary did come frequently from the book I bought at the GCC book store.
