Gloucester County College Nursing Fall 2011 Hopefuls?

Hi everyone!

Thought I could start this thread for anyone that is applying to the GCC Nursing Program this spring? I'm just getting my portfolio organized and prepared. I have to take the HESI one more time on Feb 24th and attend an info session on Feb 28th and I'm all set. I'm so nervous! But, I'm going to try to be optimistic. I hope so, too! Your scores were almost exactly the same as mine. Funny! Agh! Now I'm going to be dying for the mail to arrive so I can see if it's there yet or not, lol. I want to see all the details!

Ohhh, a whole night AT LEAST before I can read it, lol. I just sent dannipoint an email to let her know you got yours already. I need her to suffer with me, haha!

I'm nervous. There are a bunch of things I need to do (according to the packet), but of course it's Friday night so I can't start making appointments, etc. until Monday. My grandmom's funeral is on Monday and I'm working Tues so I am already stressing about it lol.

I also want to get the books ahead of time so I can go over them before the fall, so hopefully someone will answer my question about textbooks.

I will admit to an "I got in!" dance with my 21-month old who looked at my face and started laughing and dancing along although she hasn't the foggiest.

Did you apply to other places also?

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. It's a shame to lose her now.

I'm glad your baby got to see Mommy a little crazy, lol. I only applied here. It's the best fit for my family so far as distance, time and finances go. I'm going to have a problem with my shots and they are already on my to-do list. I wanted to get through my psych test and a bunch of other paperwork I had to handle before I started making Dr appts.

This would have been great Friday night reading!! Wish mine had come today! I hope everyone who has posted on here makes it in!

If you go to the bookstore and type in our class for the fall, it should list the textbooks. Don't know if you already tried that or not! I'm with you with the studying ahead bit. It's how I plan to spend my summer!

Ha! The textbooks don't come up so much of the time - and rarely before you can register for classes. I did try, even though I knew it was a lost hope. No go. Sigh.

WOW! I can't believe you got it already, that's great! I'm hoping the rest of ours come in the mail today......I submitted a 93.58% overall, 810 on the critical thinking, and A's in Bio and Chem......I had some stuff to do today, but I'm thinking I'm going to be waiting by the mailbox! LOL!

If mine is coming today, it will be here within two hours. I hope I have some info to read this weekend. My schedule was pretty full, but I'll make room. I don't want to wait until Monday!

I'm awake and anxiously waiting! I'm hoping luck is on my side today..... because I submitted an 84% composite and A's in my sciences. My Hesi was a little on the average side, so i'm very nervous since the pool looks like mostly 90s..... :( It really would be nice to work with all of you and be in the same class. I just hope it happens for me. I'm so anxious ayayayyayaya lol
