Hi Skeletor,
Did you find a job soon after you graduated from GCC? I'm just curious how the market is looking the past year or so......I know it will probably be different in 2 years, but it can't hurt to ask! :)

I'm hoping for 8 days! If they are mailing them in 6, allow two for delivery....a girl can hope, can't she?

AHHH I'm so nervous!! The wait is killing me..... I don't know whether I'm going to be ecstatic or disappointed!! :clown:

:twocents: A standard business-sized envelope contains the dreaded "rejection letter." On the contrary, a typical manila envelope contains the long-awaited "acceptance letter and welcome package."

This has been the chosen delivery method for several years now. :twocents:

Thanks Skeletor! Now I know what to look for! But sadly, I'm even more nervous. Do you know when we should be accepting the letters? Around April 4th I suppose?

I would guess after. "Notifications mailed on or about: Monday, April 4, 2011" I doubt they'll be mailing them before that, unfortunately! But I hope they go out ON the 4th, lol!

1-2 days after they are mailed is the usual. Don't be nervous, be excited :up:

So only a couple more days! I can already feel the stressfulness of schoolwork and I can imagine the nursing program will be 100x more stressful. It's nice to have a former graduate among us :)

I am nervous about the job market! I was also looking into radiology as well.....so at least I have a plan 'B"! Anyone else applying anywhere else but GCC?

nurd~ I didn't apply anywhere else besides GCC for now, but I'm considering some schools in NYC. Adelphi and College of New Rochelle. The deadline for new rochelle is in may so I plan on applying to their bsn transfer program. How about you? Did you apply anywhere else? I was thinking about BCC in pemberton nj.... but it's too far and they only give in county students priority.
