Hi everyone!
Thought I could start this thread for anyone that is applying to the GCC Nursing Program this spring? I'm just getting my portfolio organized and prepared. I have to take the HESI one more time on Feb 24th and attend an info session on Feb 28th and I'm all set. I'm so nervous! But, I'm going to try to be optimistic. I look forward to hearing from you guys :) Take Care~
Just wanted to let everyone know I made an appointment for my CHBC this friday and I was only able to make an appt by automated message or online. I tried calling the # gcc provided with the website where you order the CHBC but the lady over the phone gave me a # to the service center and advised me to make an appointment that way. Good luck to everyone!
Did you order your CHBC online? I ordered it online and sent in my confirmation of acceptance and the release form today as well. My drug test is today and I'm seeing the advisor at 10am on the 26th.....CPR class scheduled for May 17th at the continuing education center.....and my doctor's appt. the morning of the 26th so I can take the paperwork right to the college and register for the nursing classes. WHEW! I think that's all we need for now, but if I missed something with the CHBC please let me know!
I think I'm going to try to stick with 2 days a week in the fall because I have 2 small children and the more I can delay calling a sitter for a 3rd day the better!
Nurd, did you also schedule an appointment w/the quests diagnostic services for your CHBC?
And my appointment for registration is the 26th at 10:45. That sounds like a good schedule. I was thinking about doing W lab 7:45-10:20 if i can remember off the top of my head..... clinical thurs 6:45-12 lecture tues 7:45-12, but I might be changing that. We'll see.
