Glendale Nursing program Fall 2018

I wanted to start a thread for everyone who applied this semester at GCC. In the email application receipt I received they said we would not hear back until April to send TEAS scores if we made the chancellors cut. Let's keep each other updated through this grueling wait. Good luck to everyone that has applied!

Hello slyvalleygrl,

Have you received anything by email? I'm still waiting to hear from them.

Hi, nothing yet. I've been checking everyday. They did say sometime in April, so maybe after spring break? This waiting is awful.

Yeah I called they said around mid April. Have you taken the teas already?

Thank you for the update. I feel like every time I call I don't get an answer. I also got an email this morning saying they will request teas scores no later than the week of the 16th. Yes I took the teas back in October when I was applying for another program. Have you taken the teas yet ?

Your welcome that's great at least the school is keeping you inform... I didn't received an email yet. Maybe because I haven't taken the Teas yet. What are your stats?

You should have it was just an update. Maybe check your spam ? Or call and make sure your email was correct on your application. THey said the teas testing dates will be first week of May. Study as much as you can. I don't think stats matter cause everyone who makes a 75 cut score or above and passes the teas gets into the lottery. When i put in my info on the excel calculator it said I had an 83. My overall gpa is a 3.1 so not very competitive. What about you ?

Does the school have an inbetween wait to take the Teas? I'm planning on taking the teas at a different college but in case I don't like my score, I would like to take it at Glendale.

The email that was sent last week said TEAS testing at Glendale would be the first week of May. I believe you can only send your first score to them. So even if you take it twice the first score is the only one they will look at.

Oh okay, thank you. Just making sure incase I don't like my first score.
