I barely found out about this website, which I found extremely helpful. I am a pre nursing student, recently completed all my pre-reqs. I'm applying in all Los Angeles county colleges, but I'm really scared my GPA is a 3.3 and I haven't yet taken the TEAS IDK if I should wait till I apply? because I know sometimes they invite you to take it bc I need more studying. I got a B in anatomy and physiology and an A in micro. But I have a W on anatomy because I tried taking it in the Summer for like a week and gave up. Worst mistake of my life. Anyway I feel pretty unconfident to be honest, because I know its extremely competitive. I'm applying to Pierce, Glendale, Pasadena, Moorpark, Valley, and college of the canyons. Just thought I made this so we can all share our application experience, current or previous. I'm lacking motivation because of my low GPA and I'm super scared of taking the TEAS and doing bad.
I've been following along. They said closer to Thanksgiving early December and the batches are sent randomly not alphabetical or in any particular order. Goodluck to all of us! I too was hoping to hear this week.
I also applied to GCC and got asked to send my TEAS score in since making it past the Chancellor's Cut Score. I haven't heard anything back either ?
I had applied to a bunch of SoCal schools as well! (I'm from the Bay Area). Four schools have already turned me down out here and so I'm hoping to hear good news from GCC!
If anybody wanted to know my stats: My GPA was 3.3 for sciences with an A in physio, B in micro and anatomy and I passed my TEAS with a 78%. I'm praying that all of us get in. I'll keep you guys updated if I get a letter of acceptance or denial!

I got in! I'm so surprised! I had really prepared myself for rejection. I'm so sorry for the people who didn't. I hope you all get in somewhere, I already got rejected from Rio Hondo so I was prepping myself!

What a surprise!!! I was expecting to have to wait it out till Thanksgiving. To those who did not get in this time, honestly do not give up. It is hard here in Cali. but with persistence you will get in. ?❤️
