I was wondering who else is going to be applying to the Gayle Greve Hunt SON- ABSN Spring 2019. :happy:

I bet it will! This month went by super quick! I am also going to be retaking courses so I'm sure my summer will fly by haha. I hope more people can join as well. That way we can all worry together lol.

I think time will fly for me too! Classes start again on the 27th and I'm taking stats and pathophysiology so I should stay busy. I think I'm nervous because they are taking less people this time around. My friend is in the program now and he said they took about 70 but (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) told me they are only taking the top 60 for spring 2019. It felt like everyone in my chem class in June was applying with me >.

Oh gosh! I know me too, especially in my Micro Labratory. A bunch of girls were talking about it. I actually heard one of the head advisors at the school say that they may increase in the number of slots available. She was talking about it at the Application Workshop. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) was her name. She mentioned she may include 80 slots, which is still a short amount. Don't worry about Stats, I thought it was a lot of fun. Patho is the only class I need. That and my Retakes. Are you going to take it at EPCC? :)

Oh that would be awesome if they did that!!! I was told that they usually have around 160 applicants so that gives a decent shot at getting in if they will take 80! And yes I'm taking both at EPCC! Both the professors I chose had really good reviews!

It would be great! I'm actually pretty excited to go to EPCC. Are you going to be taking Patho with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)? I heard he's incredible!

No I tried to take it with him and the classes filled up so fast! Im taking it at NW campus with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)

Thank you for reaching out to me haha. I did so terrible. I ran out of time doing a lot of the sections. I was doing so well but on the math I spent TWO HOURS! I did well on it and the Reading as well as the grammar. As I got 86's and a 90. But I had an hour left to do the rest of the sections. So that is when I started going crazy. I rushed through most of the sections and I did terrible on them. So I suppose this program isn't an option at the moment. I'm so embarrassed and cannot believe this happened. But I suppose things happen for a reason. I appreciate you reaching out to me. It means a lot! :) I'll just see what happens. I just don't think I'm going to apply for this cycle. :(

Can you retake it? Did get the 75 they're looking for? If you did I would still apply honestly! You NEVER KNOW! I think people hat have really good gpas and get good HESI scores are just as capable of blowing their chance at acceptance when they do the interview. Some people just can't handle the pressure of interviews. You can have a mediocre gpa and alright HESI score but totally rock an interview and get in!!!! It could go either way!
