Helena: Mine also still said waitlisted. I am sure we will get our letters next week with where we are on the waitlist. I applied to Gateway. You never know, don't give up hope yet till you know your number. Stay positive!!
Nam-on the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing thread, there are a few people there who were accepted to BH and Gateway and have said that they are giving up their seats at Gateway...keep your head up! Waitlisted doesn't mean the door closed! Try putting a positive spin on it-anyone who made it this far technically was accepted, there just weren't enough spots for everyone. If you weren't accepted, you would have been notified back in March.
Jan286: Thank you for the great information. That is a very positive reassurance that some people really do not except their seats because of getting into another program or other circumstances. I haven't given up hope yet. I am def remaining positive. I can't wait now to see what number I am on the waitlist. Lol!! Congrats on your acceptance!! Best Luck to you!! ; )
SC - You can Not find that out. They do not want people to feel superior or bad about themselves. Just be grateful you got into school. They don't want people comparing each other like this. Now that we are in, we are all the same. Anyhow, you pretty much should be able to tell how you got in based on your stats
Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you know that now that everyone had been notified about their acceptance... Seats will be opening up.
I got into Gateway's program but decided on BHSN instead, so my seat at Gateway will go to the next qualified applicant.
I've heard a few other people saying that as well.
