Good morning!

I am a current LPN working on pre-requisites for application to the CCC-NP for Fall 2013!

I'm taking most of my courses at Holyoke Community College and hope to transfer to Northwestern Connecticut Community College.

So far I have completed:

Nutrition 101- A

English Comp and Lit (6 credit course)- A

Biology w/ Lab- A

This summer I am taking:

Intro to Psych

This fall I am taking:A&P I

Human Development

During the winter intersession I will take:Sociology

I plan to continue after my ASN to my BSN from Elms College so I'm working on required courses for that program as well.

Sorry it's not coming up in a chart format. First column = GRADE Second Column = Associated Quality Point Third Column = Three Credit Course Fourth Column = Four Column Course. Hope it makes some sense. If you have done the co-reqs they count them. If you have not, they do not count them

At this point I guess it doesn't matter though, huh? I should probably stop obsessing!

The coreqs counting must be new. They told me that its only the classes listed. Maybe it is unless it helps raise your GPA. I'm not actually sure. If anything, that would hurt me because my psych 101 grade was lower than me gpa.

They count anything that relates to Nursing classes. I know they don't really explain it well.

Only the classes on that chart are classes they count.

Psych 101. does not get counted. Abnormal Psych does though

general psych is on that list. So my GPA is 3.44 instead of 3.48. dumb. :-(

Sorry you are right. I just did mine again got 3.47. Ok I guess, I thought I was more like a 3.6... but whatever. No point betting myself up now

oh yay, the computer exemption test doesnt count towards the GPA calculation! I took the test to wipe out a C- in Intro to Programming that I took over 12 years ago... but then I was afraid that they would take the test score (87) and count that as my "grade" which would bring my GPA down. But this is good! I'm glad it doesnt count! Now to just see something on commnet and I will be reliefed... I heard for CCC that they are sending wait list letters this week... and uploading the acceptances as well. This was through a friend who has a teacher that works in admissions, so I don't rely on it 100%. You never know anymore what is really going on!
