Hello,
I'm a new member but I've been browsing topics here for a while. It's a great website.
I just took my HESI today and ended up with a 95.4%. With a 4.0 G.P.A. I feel pretty good about getting in next year, but don't really know. Does anyone know the cutoff for last years class or what type of G.P.A.s/Hesi scores got people in? Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nate
Sorry to hear that. I hate that they are so vauge with the formats. I don't think the study guide is very useful. What did you use to study? I've been taking these tests online which I seem to be a good resource. I found it off of another post. http://www.testprepreview.com/nursing_practice.htm
I know it probably doesn't help you now. Don't worry. You never know what can happen. I hope it all works out ok.

The SAT Practice gave me a good strategy for solving grammar problems. Maybe someone will find this helpful. Try to find the error in the original sentence (if there is an original sentence) if you can. You can use this checklist:
A. Is there an underlined verb (or verb error) if so:
1. Check, does the verb agree with the subject?
2. Check, is it parallel?
3. Check, it it in proper tense
B. Is there an underlined noun (or noun error) if so:
1. Check, does it agree in number with any other noun to which it refers.
C. Is there an undrlined pronoun (or pronoun error) if so:
1. Check, does it agree with the noun or pronoun it represents.
2. Check, can you tell to which noun it refers to or is it ambigious.
3. Check, does it use the right case (subjective or objective).
D. Is there an underlined preposition (or preposition error) if so:
1. Is it the right one.
Once you find the error you can look for the correction in the choices. If you can't find the error look at the options you will usually see some pattern in the possible answers. The check list does not inculde punctuation and capitilaztion errors.
My head hurts;) See you somewhere at the exam Brakflek:)
