I will be tackling this class starting on August 27th.Anyone else enrolled?

I got docked again for a supposed APA problem and I did nothing wrong. I'm completely fed up with the horrible grading in this class. IMO it's been the most unfair class in terms of grading that I have ever had at OU.

She took points of for me not using quotation marks, HOWEVER, it was not a direct quote.. but I did used data from the article in my sentence.. therefore I had to cite. I have already been over this with her.. however it continues.

Hooray this is over on Sat.

(although this class isn't as bad as Family NRSE).

In my case, i have used PERRLA and still have been docked by my TA. I've gotten nowhere by disputing it with TA and instructor. And PERRLA did it correctly.

I use PERRLA and have yet to have a problem. Are you using APA sixth edition?!

Oh I too use PERRLA and she docs me as well. inconsistently.

I am STRUGGLING with these interview papers. I have interviewed a fairly healthy patient and I am not sure how to make this into a "paper" or even tie it to a poem about alzheimers when my patient doesn't have dementia AT ALL.

The TA keeps dinging me on small stuff regarding APA format.

Same!! I feel like I keep saying the same things over and over again. How many different ways can you give a general introduction? Also I summarized the results of my assessments in the first two papers, almost a full paragraph for each tool. I'm struggling to reword all of those paragraphs.

I'm trying to finish up the rest of my paper. It's been years since I wrote a careplan. Did you guys just look stuff up online on these? Am I just over looking anything about it in the book? I'm still out on maternity leave, so I can't access anything at work.

Yeah, I'm just taking from the first two papers and switching things around. It's ridiculous!

I'm trying to finish up the rest of my paper. It's been years since I wrote a careplan. Did you guys just look stuff up online on these? Am I just over looking anything about it in the book? I'm still out on maternity leave, so I can't access anything at work.

I have a care plan book from nursing school (graduated Dec.2011), but I'm also looking stuff up on the internet. Just getting ideas and rewriting. I'm almost done, just have to write one more eval. and then switch up the conclusion. Then I have to do my 2 DB replies. Yes I waited until the last minute, I'm so burned out on this class. Glad it almost over!

That's what I had to do, look up it up online. I cannot even remember the last time I did a care plan from scratch, I'm guessing over 20 years ago.
