Georgia State University Spring 2014

Published

Hey guys! Is anyone out there applying to the GSU Spring 2014 program? I know we have some time until applications are turned in, but I wanted to get an idea as to who is planning on applying. What is everyone's GPA and TEAS scores?

Looking forward to see what I'm up against! :)

I GOT IN TO THE TRADITIONAL TRACK!!! I had a 87 on my TEAS and I think my overall GPA was a 3.6 or something close to that!!! I cried and jumped and screamed for joy!!!

Does anyone how precise they follow the suggested curriculum plan? I got into the traditional track, but when I looked at the suggested curriculum plan, I've already done all the core classes as well as some of the other classes that they require. If I continue to take a full time load of classes, I would finish before the 6 semesters suggested track. And if they make me stick to the suggeted curriculum guide, I would be taking like 4 hours for the first semester and less than 12 hrs for all the semesters after that.

I am in the same situation as you! I really hope there is a possibility that we can graduate a semester earlier...

urgh...lol i wish there's like a 24hr hotline I can call!

Did you apply for both tracks and got into the traditional one? I wonder how they decide....if they go "Oh, ooops, we're full here. I guess you can go to traditional instead."

Now that I got accepted into the nursing program, I plan to find a place to live near GSU. If anyone's looking for a roommate, send me a PM! ^^

Haha that would be convenient. I'm sure the office is currently getting flooded with questions.

No, I only applied for traditional. What about you? I used to be under the impression that ACE was harder to get into but apparently I was wrong. Many people are scared away from doing ACE and prefer trad.

I applied to both to increase my chances lol. I don't mind either or as long as I get in and not waste my spring semester doing nothing! lol But after turning in the application and hearing more and more about it, I feared the ACE track simply because I have a toddler who's turning 2, and was kinda scared that I won't do as well with the ACE track. Hmm...but because I have my Bachelors already, I have all of my cores done already, so I don't know how this all will work out....

I GOT IN!!! I GOT IN!!!! Wooooohooooooo!!!!! Accepted into the ACE program!!!

GPA: 3.82

SCIENCE GPA: 3.85

TEAS: 92.7

I got a 3.78 gpa and 87.3 teas? Pretty average. But I think I did really well on my essay.
