Georgia State University - Perimeter ASN Spring 2024

Published

Hello everyone,

I have decided to post this forum to start a community for those who are applying to the ASN program at Perimeter for Spring 2024. I found that the threads for previous semesters were quite useful for information when it came to finding out what type of stats get people accepted there. I took the TEAS 6/12 and applied minutes later. I got an email 10 days later telling me that I have met the requirements to apply and that I would hear back no later than September 30th. I have been working up to this ever since I started school in 2021 and it is a great feeling to be in this process.

Yes, that's why I'd did the skin test, but they accept the Quantiferon.

Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of getting everything together and I'm having trouble with the process of getting the background check and drug screen through advantagestudents.com. There are multiple different types of packages and I don't know which one I am supposed to get.

I chose the student packet. Are you able to take a screenshot so I can see what is showing you?

How long did it take you to get your test back? I just got it done yesterday and I'm worried the results won't come back in time before the deadline.

Typically, it can take up to 5 business days for the results to be back. Mine only took one week and the background check was completed very fast. So don't worry you still did it at a good time.

I also registered to Nurs 1921 today. Don't forget to do that if you havent registered yet.

To my shock, the results came back within one day. And yes, I did already register but than you.

That was really fast. The background check is also completed fast.  We only have to register for Nurs 1921 only right?

Yes, only Nurs 1921. I'm a little annoyed with this uniform situation because I can't try it on before and I'm worried about ordering one that ends up not fitting right.

I had the same concern but I ordered my size and it came good. It comes fast. I mean I'd order one right now and u can see if your size fits. Just don't order something bigger than your regular size.

Hey! Anyone know about ACEMAPP?? Are we supposed to wait to submit all of our immunizations/ppd/CPR? I saw on the email that everything is due on December 1st but not sure where we submit all of our paperwork. Thank you in advance!

Submit in ACEMAPP as soon as you can, so they can accept or let you know if something needs to be updated.

Does anyone know if you can choose a clinical rotations site yourself or will the school find it for you? how many days/hours a week for clinical? Thank you in advance.
