Hello everyone,
I have decided to post this forum to start a community for those who are applying to the ASN program at Perimeter for Spring 2024. I found that the threads for previous semesters were quite useful for information when it came to finding out what type of stats get people accepted there. I took the TEAS 6/12 and applied minutes later. I got an email 10 days later telling me that I have met the requirements to apply and that I would hear back no later than September 30th. I have been working up to this ever since I started school in 2021 and it is a great feeling to be in this process.

Hi ,I'm taking my TEAS on July 25 .Also planning to apply. my stat : GE GPA 3.6
Science GPA 4.0
finished with all my prerequisites except micro.Super nervous about my GPA and that I've used repeat -to-replace, I hope it won't ruin my chances on getting in.Had some problems during my very first semester ,I basically failed algebra,American government and English 1101 all at once because of it .It was super hard to recover my GPA after, but I did it somehow LOL . do you mind sharing your stat?
Institutional GPA: 3.66
Science GPA: 3.82
TEAS score: 88
The only prereqs I have left are micro and intro to human development, which I will be taking this upcoming fall semester. I have one withdrawal on my record from a few semesters ago for US history. I feel that I have a really solid chance of getting in, especially with the TEAS score I have. From what I have seen in previous threads, very few of the students who had TEAS scores below 80 got in, and those who did had a 4.0 GPA for everything.

Hey there babe! Hope all is well. I go to Georgia perimeter now! Planning to apply to their nursing program. I wanted to know what did you use to study for the TEAS if you don't mind?? Thank you.

Hi! I just took my TEAS, and I finished all my prereqs. The only class I'm missing is Human Development but I'm doing that this Fall. I have a 3.6 GPA for science and a 3.4 for overall but I have had withdrawals in the past in 2016/2017 so I'm scared that they will come back to haunt me and I also have failed in maybe 2-3 classes so that falls into my total GPA but I meet all the minimal requirements for the program. My TEAS was 74% wondering if anyone has similar stats as me who has been accepted?

So whenever I was in the process of deciding on this path, I would look at other threads from previous semesters on this website and figure out what type of grades were getting people accepted.
A lot of people are like 3.8-4.0 with TEAS of 88%. I feel like people who may be similar to me don't usually post or ask questions through threads. :() I checked previous threads

I've seen plenty of accepted posts from people who had around a 3.5 GPA with a TEAS score in the high 80s. I'm feeling very confident that I'll get accepted, I just hope it's not overconfidence though. This is the only program I applied to because I was so mentally exhausted from this process of taking the TEAS that I didn't have the energy to apply to another school, plus another possible entry exam if the TEAS wasn't accepted at the other one.

Yea you definitely have great stats. So, I don't doubt you wouldn't get it, I'd most likely have to improve my TEAS if I don't get in with my score. I was just so sick of taking standardized testing. I feel like, I get overwhelmed by it but I'm very good at like science classes I get A's and B's in those important classes.

Yeah, I really just wish the school were bigger because it would mean there be more seats in the nursing program and as a result also accept very well deserving students with lower TEAS scores. I kind of just found that half the stuff on the TEAS was not necessary for nursing school.

I feel like being able to pass these science classes should be enough to prove your ability to survive in nursing program especially if you have no repeats of those specific classes(which I don't). I'm currently looking into different schools but I want to go to GSU-Perimeter because it's literally so close to me and that's been my only attended college. Do you know how many seats they offer per admission? I swear I can't find any information with that stuff.

I think the information webinar says how many seats there are for each semester. But yeah, I agree about the fact that they provide pretty much no information about things like that at all, such as acceptance rate.
