Hi! I just took my TEAS, and I finished all my prereqs. The only class I'm missing is Human Development but I'm doing that this Fall. I have a 3.6 GPA for science and a 3.4 for overall but I have had withdrawals in the past in 2016/2017 so I'm scared that they will come back to haunt me and I also have failed in maybe 2-3 classes so that falls into my total GPA but I meet all the minimal requirements for the program. My TEAS was 74% wondering if anyone has similar stats as me who has been accepted?

Hi , my stats isn't great as well :

overall GPA is 3.6

Science GPA is 4.0

TEAS overall 79.4

reading 82

math 94

science 75

english 66:(

I also have used repeat to replace 2 times and I dropped from anatomy class one time .

Your stats are much better than mine. My post had a typo 3.04* but I have no withdraws from any science classes besides Psych when I first started college but I'm sure you'll get it!

Yeah, I really just wish the school were bigger because it would mean there be more seats in the nursing program and as a result also accept very well deserving students with lower TEAS scores. I kind of just found that half the stuff on the TEAS was not necessary for nursing school.

This will be my 2nd time being accepted into the nursing program (I start again this fall), and I'll say you definitely need all of the things the TEAS tests for. Including test-taking skills.

I feel like being able to pass these science classes should be enough to prove your ability to survive in nursing program especially if you have no repeats of those specific classes(which I don't). I'm currently looking into different schools but I want to go to GSU-Perimeter because it's literally so close to me and that's been my only attended college. Do you know how many seats they offer per admission? I swear I can't find any information with that stuff.

Spring admission is 60 students. Fall was 100+ before, but I think it's lower now.

Hi everyone, I heard that fall decisions were given out 3 weeks after the application deadline, which makes me wonder do you all think it would take the same amount of time? Im just anxious. Im glad this groupchat was made.

I have no idea. I was told I would hear a decision by September 30th. This is my first time applying.

4 weeks, but it was quicker than expected. There isn't a thread for Fall '23 but there are ones from before to compare.

Hey guys, I just want to remind everyone that this thread is related to Spring admission and not for the fall. That being said, from what I have seen for Spring admission for previous threads, people only got their acceptance letter in late September each time.

Did you guys finish all the prerequisite requirements?  I have 4 more left and I'm taking it this Fall semester. I'm really nervous that I won't get accepted because of that.

I'm currently on my last prerequisite. Human Development which I'm taking right now so if I get accepted, I'd be done with all of them.
