Hello everyone,
I have decided to post this forum to start a community for those who are applying to the ASN program at Perimeter for Spring 2024. I found that the threads for previous semesters were quite useful for information when it came to finding out what type of stats get people accepted there. I took the TEAS 6/12 and applied minutes later. I got an email 10 days later telling me that I have met the requirements to apply and that I would hear back no later than September 30th. I have been working up to this ever since I started school in 2021 and it is a great feeling to be in this process.

overall GPA is 3.6
Science GPA is 4.0
TEAS overall 79.4
reading 82
math 94
science 75
english 66:(
I also have used repeat to replace 2 times and I dropped from anatomy class one time .
Your stats are much better than mine. My post had a typo 3.04* but I have no withdraws from any science classes besides Psych when I first started college but I'm sure you'll get it!
Galb4894 said:Yeah, I really just wish the school were bigger because it would mean there be more seats in the nursing program and as a result also accept very well deserving students with lower TEAS scores. I kind of just found that half the stuff on the TEAS was not necessary for nursing school.
This will be my 2nd time being accepted into the nursing program (I start again this fall), and I'll say you definitely need all of the things the TEAS tests for. Including test-taking skills.
Bibxo said:I feel like being able to pass these science classes should be enough to prove your ability to survive in nursing program especially if you have no repeats of those specific classes(which I don't). I'm currently looking into different schools but I want to go to GSU-Perimeter because it's literally so close to me and that's been my only attended college. Do you know how many seats they offer per admission? I swear I can't find any information with that stuff.
Spring admission is 60 students. Fall was 100+ before, but I think it's lower now.
RodrigoFutureRN said:Hi everyone, I heard that fall decisions were given out 3 weeks after the application deadline, which makes me wonder do you all think it would take the same amount of time? Im just anxious. Im glad this groupchat was made.
I have no idea. I was told I would hear a decision by September 30th. This is my first time applying.

4 weeks, but it was quicker than expected. There isn't a thread for Fall '23 but there are ones from before to compare.
APO said:Did you guys finish all the prerequisite requirements? I have 4 more left and I'm taking it this Fall semester. I'm really nervous that I won't get accepted because of that.
I'm currently on my last prerequisite. Human Development which I'm taking right now so if I get accepted, I'd be done with all of them.
