Georgia State University (GSU) Spring 2018

Hi everyone!

The deadline for the ACE application for Spring 2018 at Georgia State University was yesterday and so now the wait begins! Who else applied?

My stats are:

Undergrad GPA: 3.7

Pre-requisite and Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS score: 91.3

Good luck to everyone and hopefully we'll all be meeting in January!

So, I know this is a bit of a reach....

But when I log in to check my application status and click on Document Upload and then click on Admissions Status It says View your official letter Spring 2018- Sch of Nursing & Health Prof "your letter is on the way"... I used to be able to view my acceptance letter to GSU, but now it says that message :D

So maybe they really have made the decisions and our letters are on the way in the mail! Tomorrow really could be the day.

I've had that notice for a while too. I still have that notice from when I applied for a transient semester at GPC a few years ago. I did notice on that document upload screen that the processing time is twenty-one business days after uploading and accepting, which for me was October 17. Twenty-one business days after October 17 is November 15... :nailbiting:

I talked to this guy in my class today that applied to ace and traditional and he said that he went to talk to them today in person and they said they're still reviewing applications ughhhh.

@jasminewright88- I spoke with them yesterday as well and they said the same thing. How frustrating. I really can't imagine not finding anything out by the end of this week.... All next week is thanksgiving break and I don't know if I'll be able to make it through an entire week of the school being closed with no hope of any news coming.

Yeah this is ridiculous and to top it all off, he also said that they haven't sent out ANY decisions yet so it has me thinking like did they wait until the last minute to review these applications smh I really don't know.

But there were people on here saying they got acceptances...well, one said she did. Another said someone they know got an acceptance. This is all so weird and...I'm at my wits end. There are so many decisions with my job and moving that are dependent upon hearing whether I make it or no. Also, it's pretty crappy that they don't email people who don't get in. That seems super discourteous.

I agree . A lot of people are putting stuff off because they're waiting to see wether they've gotten in or not . I thinks it's very inconsiderate of them to have us waiting so many days past the deadline of when we were supposed to find it . I hope we all good in because we've been waiting as patiently as we can.

I agree. So many of us are making really big decisions all dependent on acceptance or not - moving, quitting jobs, taking out massive private loans, etc. In my opinion, if it takes so long to make these decisions, why don't they just make the deadline earlier?

Some posts from last year's Spring acceptance did not get acceptance until Dec. 1. I REALLY hope that is not the case. People can not be expected to prepare for the expense and schedule of school with less than a month.

I wouldn't be surprised if they sent out all decisions on Friday at 5PM and then left for the week to dodge calls and emails about decisions.
