Hello everyone! I am in the process of applying to GSU Fall 2018 and noticed that there hadn't been a thread started yet. I am applying for both the ACE and traditional tracks. My GPA is 3.73 and my TEAS is a 97.3. Fingers crossed! Who else is applying and what are your stats??

No update on Nursing acceptance. Yesterday, they said they were mailing out letters of decisions.

However Final grades are up for most so yay?

Hey! Congrats to all of you. I'm going to apply in 2020 and wanted to know how GSU calculates the gpa for repeated courses?

They use the average of both attempts.

Haven't heard anything yet, no acceptance, no denial, no waitlist. I'm hoping they were waiting until final grades came out and that I'm in the last wave of acceptances. So bummed. Keep us posted when you all hear back! Good luck :)

Also, for those who haven't heard, what were your stats? My overall GPA is a 3.91, science GPA is 4.0, 95.3% on TEAS, BS in Psych and I'm a paramedic. I was really hoping that would make the cut, but I guess not.

I have a 3.62 & 81 on the TEAS. I called today and I.T seems like they've sent out all acceptances. They said to look out for your physical mail which has been denial letters in the past. I'm not sure about people who are waitlisted though. They try not to say much over the phone so hopefully we did make the cut lol í ½í¹ƒ

Hey all, I have also applied for traditional and ACE. I have yet to receive any mail or email back either. My stats are 3.91 GPA, science GPA 3.5, TEAS 75, and some volunteer hours from a hospital last summer. I knew for a fact that I wouldn't get into ACE, I only listened to my advisor to apply for both (which I shouldn't have lol). I've been on the phone with the program and they said they are still sending out decisions until mid next week. There have even been instances where people don't find out until the end of summer semester! So, I just wanted to say hello and that you are not alone in this stressful wait.

Thanks for this!!! But you may actually have a shot at ace. I now someone who started ACE this Spring and she had a 3.5 . Hoping for the subway for us all. I just hate how they tell us all different things. Your news sounds way better though so I'm hoping for that lol

Hey everyone, I got accepted into the traditional program With a 4.0 overall and science, 84% TEAS and a really good recommendations and essay lol, but i will not be accepting my spot. I would consider this program, but I just read its a 3 year - 6 semester program so i'll definitely pass on that. Other programs are 2 years and 2 semesters. I got into my other top traditional programs so I'm content. Congrats again to all the applicants an acceptees ! let the journey begin !

I opened a rejection letter today. But it's fine, I already was accepted to Mercer and paid a deposit
