Georgia State University, Fall 2011 Application

I mailed my Fall 2011 GSU nursing application on Jan. 22. The application deadline is March 1st. As we wait, I invite all applicants, traditional or ACE, to post their program gpa and TEAS version V scores and keep others abreast when they receive an applicaton response. Here are mine:

Program GPA: 3.63

TEAS V: 86.0 (Date 1/15/2011)

Percentile Rank - National: 97

Percentile Rank - Program: 94

As we wait,....

i found out today i have been accepted into the ace program at georgia state. i am debating between mercer and ga state at the moment. i hope everyone else gets an acceptance letter soon!

CONGRATS to you, JbillingsRN!!! Having to make a decision between Mercer and GSU is a fantastic problem to have. :)

If you don't mind, share your stats (program GPA, TEAS score) with us.

quick question, how does one know if they ever been on the waiting list. does th school mails an applicant saying they're on the waiting list...how does it work?

I have been accepted in the ACE program!! I haven't posted anything-sorry all- but I have been stalking this post regularly. Can't wait to meet everyone and congratulations to everyone who has heard good news.

To those who haven't, there is still a good deal of time for letters to get sent, so try not to obsess over it too much. Keep positive.

@isthereachance....Notification of a spot on the waiting list is sent in a letter that goes out after the programs are completely full (most likely at the end of April). If students drop out of the program or are not able to attend before the semester starts, the waiting list students get called. The school can call up until the first day of classes.

Congrats KATYGSU!!! I can't wait to meet all the people that are going to be on the ACE program with us!! I'm probably way too excited, but oh well! Have you started on your PINS review and stuff?? It's pretty lengthy lol

I just heard about this website in my microbiology lab I was in earlier and had to check it out! I'm getting pretty nervous, I didn't know until literally an hour ago that people were already getting acceptance letters! I have a program GPA of 3.85, a TEAS V test of 84.7%, and I turned in my application (for the traditional track) on February 25. Just my luck though, my TEAS scores didn't send due to a technical problem and Ms. Reed was nice enough to let me know, so they just got the scores last Thursday! Believe me, I let ATI know I was not happy about them making my application review most likely be late. I hope this doesn't affect my chances of getting in, but the scores were sent as soon as I was notified that they weren't in. I know everyone will know by late April if they got in or not, but I'm definitely nervous. Hopefully I'll have good luck - I don't have a plan B as far as nursing school goes so I'm just hoping it all goes well!

@ hamlet: I just got access on ulearn yesterday and resisted opening any of the folders until I was done with an exam today. I took a peek and it definitely thorough. I know what you mean about being beyond excited. I can't wait to get started!!

Hey!

I have been following this forum for a little while now and haven't had time to post anything until now. I applied to BOTH ace and traditional. My Program GPA is a 3.86 and my TEAS score is an 83.3%. I have not heard back either.. :hdvwl:

@cmGSU- Welcome to the board...and if you don't mind, please scoot over just a bit so that I can bang my head on that wall too!! :D The wait sucks, doesn't it?!?! I'm having violent feelings towards my mailman...I'm positive he's hiding my letter from me. ;)
