Georgia State Perimeter College Fall 2019

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to Perimeter for the fall 2019 program.

I take my TEAS this afternoon and will be sending in my application after that. Good luck to everyone trying to get in!

You're welcome , yes hopefully we all ? & yes this had to been the most stressful/ depressing wait of my life , knowing that someone has the power in their hands to determine your future with a simple yes/no , just awful . Hoping I didn't get my hopes up with the glitch in their system allowing us to register.?

I am not kidding you when I say that I left work early to check my mail ? I got accepted! I was denied last semester because my science GPA was below the 3.4 competitive GPA but I brought it up to a 3.6 with two A’s in A&P II. I wish everyone the best of luck and I can’t wait to learn and work side-by-side with you!

Congratulations!! Was it a packet included with your letter? Like was the envelope thick? Asking so I can know when I get mine so I can tell from the envelope before I open it.

Congrats to you Holly ???, I got denied, and they claim that all spots were filled, and those denied are still being considered and last rounds of letters will be sent out June 1st, congrats to all who gets in

My denial letter was a small envelope like you would get a bill in and the acceptance letter was a full on 8 x 11 packet.

When I was denied, I called Ms. Creel to get the specifics and she let me know right away that my science GPA had to come up to really compete. Maybe you can call and get some advice for what would guarantee you a spot next semester. Don’t lose hope, I know first hand how disappointing it is.

I didn't get in either! Little shocked. My Teas was a 92, with an 89 in reading and 96 in math. Prereq gpa was 3.7, science gpa 4.0. I'll be emailing Renee to see what I can do to improve my chances for the spring. Congrats to everyone who got in!

That is crazy. Your stats are almost perfect! You should apply for Mercer's program. Their application closes May 1st. That's what I'm doing
