Georgia State Perimeter College Fall 2019

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to Perimeter for the fall 2019 program.

I take my TEAS this afternoon and will be sending in my application after that. Good luck to everyone trying to get in!

Don't lose hope hun, this can mean anything, I was just testing it out, thinking to myself they probably authorized those they accepted to register for nursing fundamentals, I figured we all have pretty good and high stats , so everyone on this board should get in and wanted to share it with you all ?

I tried both...I figured they would let you register if you got in. It's okay though! I know how competitive it is. Thank you for your kind words!

You are welcome anytime but still don't lose hope , wait for your letter to get it officially confirmed and remember that they'll be girls willing to give up their seat, and they'll accept the next person in line from what I seen happened in previous semesters.

I don't think we can register for Nurs 1924 because only 75 out of the 80 are able to take this course , and I don't understand why , so it probably needs authorization through the department after acceptance has been confirmed

I didn't know that we needed recommendations. I thought that was only for the BSN program?

No, we don't need recommendations for the ASN program hun, I was just saying maybe we need authorization to register for Nurs 1924 after our letter has confirmed we are in the program because only 75 out of the 80 accepted are able to have a seat in that course .

I was able to register too. I hope this is not a glitch and I haven’t gotten my hopes up. Good luck to us all. ??????

Yay ? good for you, I doubt the nursing department will leave a glitch on their system knowing that they basically assigned seats already, per acceptance they probably allowed the override and authorization as they accepted, I have a friend who applied and was unable to register like I did , she got the only those who are accepted, message in red .

I have a classmate who’s major is not nursing and she was able to add 1921. This is not a good way of telling. At this point all we can do is wait and be patient. Good luck to all!

Well I guess it's a glitch in their system then, I find it strange some were able to register and some got an error, the letter it is then to make it official.

You can see a picture of yours? Mine just says “There is a mailpiece for which we do not currently have an image that is included in Today's mail.”

Yes I have a picture of mine with my name on it , it may depend on your post office , if they scan the image, I live in Jonesboro/Stockbridge. My letter was mailed out April 3rd from what I'm seeing on the image
