Hi! I'm applying to Georgia State University's ACE Track for Spring 2016. Anyone else out there also applying? :)
I got my ACE acceptance email this past Wednesday too! Do any of y'all know if we need to register for the classes ourselves or they do it for us? Also did any of you take the US History, US constitution, GA History & GA Constitution exams? If yes, how was it?
Can't wait to meet everyone!
@gsu.ace.spring2016 I think all of the information about signing up for classes will be in the acceptance packet. My advisor told me that the spots are already reserved.
As for the exams, I'm unsure. I had a friend who had to take them and she said it wasn't very hard but she studied for it. Sorry I can't help more.
I need to take the GA History and Constitution tests as well. I bought the booklets to study but honestly haven't opened them yet. I know that Hugh Grant told me they shouldn't be hard, and it is on a pass/fail scale so we don't necessarily need a high score on them to be ok. I have registered twice and been unable to take them due to scheduling conflicts. Signing up again today!
Oh, and has anyone else received their acceptance packet? I know mail isn't running today (Veterans Day) but it's getting pretty close to the 7 business days and I'm getting antsy. I need to know when these deadlines are going to be! If anyone gets theirs pleeeeease post the info on here. I'll do the same.
Hello everyone, I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. I received an email earlier today stating that I was put on the wait list for the Traditional track. The email did not state my position on the list so I am going to accept my admissions offer from Emory. Congratulations to everyone who has already been accepted and good luck to those who are still waiting.
My acceptance packet came today. It is kind of odd. There are seven requirements, due on various dates. They changed the date for the acceptance letter to November 20th for me, and registration must be completed by January 4th. Number five on the list asks that we complete all health requirements, CPR and related paperwork by December 14th. However, it does not clarify anywhere that I can find in the packet what the health requirements are, or give any paperwork to complete. Anybody else know how it works?

Hi everyone, I got my email this morning and was accepted into the ACE program for January. I haven't received my packet in the mail yet, only the email. I am in the same boat of hoping that deadline is different, as my packet won't get here for 7-10 days also. Congrats to everyone who made it in either program, and to the people that got into ACE I am sure we will be getting to know each other very soon!
Good luck to everyone still waiting! They still probably have another week or two of email waves to go through and such (remember not everyone will accept their seat also!)
