Hi! I'm applying to Georgia State University's ACE Track for Spring 2016. Anyone else out there also applying? :)
No case studies, only homework, tests and quizzes. She tried ti do the whole attemdace thing via learning cataytics but it didnt really workout. I have her revised syllabus for after spring break because e got behind a little but I can send you the original one once I get off work. Its on my laptop. I don't really know how to use this website but I can email it you. I think the ACS is curved, it has to be a lot of people would have failed if not.
For the lab final, go through all the labs and know how to do the calculations.
I think A&P is easier than chem, esp the orgo part. The biochem part, I didn't really study as much as I should have because of A&P. In A&P you learn what happens to lipids so you wont have to worry about the orgo part of it because you know what makes up a lipid.
From her Syllabus:
Course points are calculated as follows: Maximum Number of Points

Sit in front of her, she notices who's coming and trying. Do not leave early, she notices and will point you out.
Wow, thanks a lot for that! It's a similar grading scale to Chem 1151, but i'm pretty sure in terms of content it's harder. I'm not very familiar with this website either, my email is [email protected]. I can send you the Nurs 2010 syllabus if you'd like as well :).
Hey! Their acceptance works on a points system, which i'm not sure if I can disclose the details of on a public forum since the advisor didn't even let me keep the paper lol, but if you haven't already, I would definitely talk to Hugh Grant. He can tell you straight up whether you have a good chance of being accepted or not and will take you through how many points you have personally. I think I can say, though, that it's out of 40 points and 30.5 was the cut off for ACE and 26 was the cut off for traditional. I don't think you need to worry too much though, Ibethel1, I have a high GPA but a lower TEAS score, and he said I have a pretty good chance, and since you have it the other way around you should have a good chance in either program as well :)
Did you go to GSU's nursing program, seasidesoul? I was considering taking the TEAS again to get in the 90's, but was advised against doing so. My councelor told me I have high enough points to get in, but i'm still a little paranoid with a lower TEAS score lol. The test is also very expensive; it would cost me another $120 to take it again :/.

I'm not the best in chemistry, so organic chemistry kind of worries me lol. I have the textbook and looked around a bit and i've never learned that stuff before. Was it a lot easier than A&P though? I think the worst part of Chem 1151 was the ACS exam at the end, do you know if it's curved a lot for 1152 as well? How does the class work, like, do you get case studies, how many tests, any extra credit?
