I have an overall GPA of 2.25, my program GPA is a 3.15...i got a D in my human anatomy lecture but re-took it with an A. I have yet to take the teas. However the requirements at GPC are....min. 2.0 overall GPA, 2.7 in program GPA 2.7 in biology. However i was previously studying in business administrations so i have around 5 W'S and have failed only one class. What are my chances of getting accepted? Has anyone gotten accepted with similar scores/ similar circumstances?

So once again, overall GPA: 2.25 (2.3 with this upcoming A)

Program GPA: 3.15 (with only one re-taken course )

Bio GPA:3.5 (I'm also not sure if the previous D in A&P will be included in the calculations...)

requirements:

Overall GPA: min. 2.0

Program GPA 2.7

Bio GPA:2.7

Yeppers!! I have enough classes to keep me busy! What classes are you guys taking?? I'm taking Micro w/lab, Religion and Ethics.

I'm worried now...I think I selected GPC when I sent my TEAS scores...I guess I'll be calling the school tomorrow...hopefully I won't have to pay again! I'm taking Micro and A&P 2...and I work and have a 2 year old so wish me luck!

You can do it!!

Milesamelia...when I accidentally submitted the same Teas score twice. I called and they were happy to switch and submit two different scores for me. I hope this doesn't look to bad to submit two different scores. I haven't repeated classes nor did I withdraw so....fingers crossed!!

Milesamelia I meant to say you're my hero to pull all that off!! I have four children but I couldn't imagine taking care of them working and my husband,

while in school. To complete all this and maintain my grades would be a challenge but I guess soon enough I'll learn to juggle nursing school and the kids and whatever else....besides that we're women, the ultimate multi-taskers!!!!! Kudos to you!!!

I'm finished with most of my pre reqs since I transferred over from Athens tech but right now I'm about to start with US history, public speaking and Spanish, then I'll only have the research class and phed to do over the summer.

That's awesome yall are doing this with kids and working! I don't have kids yet but I work full time and that's hard enough.

Aelmo who's are you taking for pub speaking?? My friend took it online said it was easier. I personally wanted to take it in class for the experience. My professors name was Ms. Wynter her first name was Ruth, I think. Your schedule is doable especially in the summer. Those can totally be done online!! Good luck!

I'm getting ready to take A&P II, Amer Gov't, and the LINK class for the Spring semester. I had registered for the online Dosage Class too, but when I emailed the professor about which book to buy she said the school was cancelling the class "due to financial" reasons. It's still showing on my class schedule and in iCollege so IDK what's going on there. When Summer finally gets here all I will have left of my pre-req's will be Microbiology and Logic & Critical Thinking. It's psyching me out that I'm getting so close!

I can't remember the teacher I signed up for but I'm taking it online too. I'm really bad at public speaking so I thought that would be easier haha

I'll be taking speech online as well. Just want to get it over with!

Critical thinking doesn't appear to be apart of the prereqs for GPC nursing. Am I missing something? Don't want to miss taking a class I need.

The logic and critical thinking class is PHIL 2020, which is the recommended humanities class. You can take any class, but the program of study recommended this specific class. Hope that helps you!
