Has anyone applied to Augusta Tech's ADN program for Fall? I can't wait to find out who's been selected; the anticipation is probably going to kill me.

I'm still finishing up pre-reqs. Hope to start Fall 2016.

Good Luck!!

What is the required TEAS test score at Augusta Tech? And what is the deadline to apply?

The TEAS V score only has to be 58.7% and GPA 2.75, but the deadline to apply for Fall was February 3rd.

I am not applying to the program but I graduated from the Augusta tech ADN program dec 2014. btw right now we have a 100% nclex pass rate for our class :) if anyone needs books or advice PM me.

Do they have late registration? Is it once a year class or they also offer the spring class?

How it works is you apply to the college and start your pre-reqs. After finishing your pre-reqs, then you apply for progression into the nursing program. The deadline for progression is firm, but as long as your pre-reqs will be finished my May of that same year, you can still be considered for progression if you submit your application on time. The actual nursing courses starts every Fall, they don't have any starting in Spring like some other schools.

I've applied for the program and I'm currently finishing up my last 3 pre-reqs before the deadline in May. I took my TEAS V exam yesterday and I'm feeling very discouraged :( I currently have a 4.0 and should get at least 2 more A's and either an A or B out of my final classes. What did yall get on your TEAS and have for a GPA and still get selected? I'm really kinda freaking out!!! I have SOOOOO much riding on this, it's not even funny. I talked to the nursing advisor yesterday after my exam and she told me to submit my results and continue with the process, but didn't make it sound like it was all that promising. How many candidates are selected? I know I'm trying to get in on second selection, so I'm sure it's even more competitive, but I'm just looking for a little bit of hope. She also told me that notification letters aren't sent out until the end of July. That's a LONG time to wait in my current situation. If anyone has any helpful information, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

As long as you passed the TEAS test I don't think you have anything to worry about because 70% of ranking comes from your GPA and 30% from the TEAS is what I was told. Not everyone has a 4.0, but it is very nerve wrecking. I don't know what I'll do if I don't get accepted this Fall. I also heard that they accept 25-30 students. I have no clue how many they've already accepted, but I am praying that I'll be one of them. I honestly think you'll be fine. Keep in mind that the TEAS score only had to be 58.7%. The counselor made me believe that I have a chance and I don't have a 4.0 and my TEAS was not the best. She told me there was pretty much no point in me retaking the TEAS unless I just wanted to get a higher score to make myself feel better (I made a 70 all together). I hope this helps!

Does anyone mind posting their scores and their gpa to ease the anticipation? July is a long time to wait.
