  1. Thank you for writing this article. It was very informative. I was wondering if you have any suggestions for a new grad going into rehab? I want to review and learn all I can prior to beginning this new adventure. Thank you in advance for your response.
  2. Has anyone received a packet from Augusta Tech for the fall 2016 ADN program?
  3. I received my acceptance letter this past weekend. Anyone else?
  4. Hello! I'm slated for the 2nd round of applicants for the 2016 ADN. I was wondering if there were any other 2nd round applicants here and if you have heard anything? I've been told letters will go out July. I'm anxiously waiting.
  5. Thank you for your responses... I've signed up for online Intro to Humanities
  6. Hello everyone! I have one last pre-req to take in the spring. I need to take a Humanities or elective (art, theater, music, etc). Am I crazy for considering to take Humanities online?
  7. I'm still finishing up pre-reqs. Hope to start Fall 2016.
  8. Hi ! I'm currently taking my pre-reqs at ATC. I just began in January this year. I'm taking only a couple of courses at a time due to working full time right now. I am finishing up psych on Monday.
  9. I'm 39 ...will be 40 in October. I started my pre-reqs in Jan. I work full time so I will be slowly tackling all the classes. As others have said you don't want to let years go by and wish you had went to school. Just Do It!!!
  10. Just an update.... Met my instructor today and let her review my work. She said I am on the right track. That's exactly what I needed reassurance. Yay!
  11. HouTx that is exactly how I feel. Hoping after I meet the instructor on Thurs I will feel better. I have looked into possibly transferring to one of the on site classes. Whatever I do I don't want to set myself up for failure.
  12. Thank you so much for responding. I do have a syllabus and have been following it along with other info that has been posted. In reading and interacting with the class discussion blog there are others that are having the same issues. I'm scheduled to go in and meet the instructor for a proctored essay on Thursday...I guess I will see how that goes from there. Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com
  13. Yes it is my first online course. The issue I am having is not knowing what the instructor expects. I have emailed with specific questions and they are answered but there is still that lack of assurance that I am doing the right thing. It seems I am not the only one that is having this issue based upon the comments made on the class blog. I am motivated to learn just want clearer instruction on when she is wanting assignments and such. Her expectations.
  14. Has anyone gotten 2 weeks into the class and are really dissatisfied with what you are learning and how it is taught? I am currently in an online English class and I kept thinking it would get better but it certainly is not.
  15. I'm in the same boat! I start my remedial math and English tomorrow. Best of luck to us all we can do this!
