Georgia Highlands College Waiting Game!

Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

Hey.. CW Called me back. She said that they have most of the background checks, but still waiting on a few, so she can't say yes or no to anyone else until those results are in. AND that we've already been scored and so they have the ones picked that they want, as long as the checks are good. AND that she'd call everyone once they all are in, and then also send a follow up email, AND she's terribly sorry that its taking so long, its a process.. AND (my last AND) Its perfectly okay that i'm going to florida :) (hopefully not because it wont matter b/c i didnt get in...lol) WHewwwww! Sorry for the rambling :)

Star, you will be next to hear something. I completely agree with tns..

..Geeezzz what a day and still no word. I keep cleaning trying to distract my self and its not working.....:confused:

I was talking with a HR person today and she said that the background checks only takes 72hrs to get back. Its been 2weeks so how do they not have the BG check results yet?

Maybe its a background check and a credit check???

I bet that they did not send off for the background checks except on those that they chose because I am sure they had to pay $ for them just as we did when we were accepted.

Good point, they didn't meet till Monday, so that fits.

maimai, I was so mad when I was reading what you wrote earlier. lol. I am glad CW is so nice about us calling. I like her a lot, even if I don't get in. and Star I had to call to set up my interview too. I've spent the whole day away from my computer so I would not freak out about people getting calls or not and I have to say I missed you guys all day!:icon_hug:
