Georgia Highlands College Waiting Game!

Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

ok, now I'm freaking out just a little b/c I have bought books, but I had not bought the assessment kit or steth0scope yet! I was planning on doing that Monday while the kids are in school. UGH.... I also can't find the sheet that said what all was included in the assessment kit. Great! I'm sending an e-mail to Ms. Br*ck, maybe she can tell me where to get the items.

Joy... no offense taken on the driving to Rome... I feel your pain. I live here, but it's not my favorite place and I hate having to drive from Rome to anywhere else because it takes forever just to get to the interstate. I grew up living 5 min. from the interstate and could be in downtown Atl. in about 45 min ( from my parents house).... now it takes me that long to get out of Rome and through Cartersville. I didn't apply for Wellstar b/c I didn't want to have to drive down there everyday.

Rofl! You guys are too funny!!! ....Yeah, I have look into that too....Or, I could give you a shocker by wearing my granny drawers! When I was volunteering we had to wear white pants(they were see-through). I had to buy nude colored under-britches to wear w/them. My husband laughed so hard when he saw them he said that they were awful and I looked like I belonged in a convent with nuns.

ok, I just called the bookstore and the lady says she hopes the kits will be in by the end of the week, which is tomorrow, so I guess maybe I can return my blood pressure to a healthy level. I was about to have a stroke for a second.

I just ordered the kits online to be shipped to my house using my financial aid..I hope it will come in time

Has anyone heard from Wellstar yet????? I am going crazy!!! Do you think it may be a good thing we havent heard from them? Maybe they went ahead and called the people that they werent giving the scholarship too??? just a thought!!

I want a phone call today! Seriously, i leave for florida in 6 hours, and i wanna know before i go! UUUGhh! I think this is ridiculous, and that they shouldnt be allowed to take this long, when school is in A WEEK! Thank god i dont have children, b/c i feel for you guys that are strung out about daycare!
