So, what was the total cost of the books on amazon?

hobo, what did you pay for your med surg book? I was just curious b/c I might go ahead and buy that one out of pocket before my financial aid becomes availiable. Thanks!

You all will have to help me figure out the financial aid....I was lucky enough that my parents paid for my previous degree. How do I find out which one that I have? It states GHC will use my EFC to determine my financial aid eligibility??? When will we be able to use it?

all the books i ordered were brand new, some you can get cheaper by ordering in softback instead of hardback, which is lighter anyways. and all the books have included the discs.

Melissa... about Floyd partnering with Shorter... People can take Pre-reqs now, but the actual first nursing classes do not begin until Fall 2010. Floyd does clinicals with other colleges also. I had looked into going to West Central Tech and Dalton State and both places told me if I wanted, I could do all my clinicals at Floyd and Redmond.

I am so excited!!! I received my last transcript today so I can finally send my scholarship application. Also, I took the CPR class today and ordered 5 books .....thanks hobo for the pricelist. It really helped! I am going to order some of the books each pay period so I can afford them. I am praying that I will get reimbursed.
