Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

Sounds fantastic! We sure do need it! How many beds are there currently?

32 beds. From what I hear, the nursing home will expand and use the 32 beds.

No, I work with performance improvement and quality. I investigate all of the medication errors and adverse drug events that occur within Wellstar. After I get my associates degree, I plan on getting my masters. I have to work full time right now and GA highlands has a flexible schedule.

Have you called the nursing department at Georgia Highlands to see what the hold up on the letters is? I think we all have....and I was just wondering what they told you, if you had called.

Maybe if we all show up and sit in their office and refuse to leave until they mail the letters, they will mail them. hehehehehe

I have not called. I don't know why but I am so nervous to call them. I will call if you would like for me to try. Has anyone called lately?

I just called and they stated the letters will be sent at the end of the month. :banghead:

What is the hold up on the letters? Maybe background checks on the selected hopefuls? Or, is Wellstar having a look at the students interested in the Marietta program? What could it be? Something must have changed from how they did things last year b/c the letters were mailed at the end of May last year.:smackingf

Does anyone know where it states specifically about the wellstar scholarship program on the ga highlands site?

I work at Kennestone hospital and couldn't get any information from them or from Georgia Highlands about the Marietta program. I have been so irritable waiting the past few weeks, my poor husband can't take much more. :devil:
