Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

Maybe I should do the working out thing. I put on 6lbs that I need to shed. I've been eating fat free yogurt and trying to increase my protein.... I was walking the neighborhood w/ my kids until they got burned out.
I took Micro at Chatt Tech last fall and had the most amazing teacher that I have ever had. Dr. B***. He just taught his last quarter b/c he was promoted to dept head over all five campuses. Chatt merged w/ App Tech, & North Metro. I recorded every lecture and loved that class unbelievably. I miss that class. I am hoping that we have more like it, maybe, pathology, or something like it.
Just for curiousity, does anyone know what class is considered the hardest in the GHC nursing program? I have heard pharmacology is hard, but I am curious how much in detail they teach about medication.

I took Micro last fall at the Rome GHC campus and took it from Mr. H . I loved Micro. It was one of my favorite classes.
I had Dr King at GHC. She was awesome!!! I have to say Micro was one of my favorite classes that I have ever taken in my college career. I went to a luncheon today where they discussed a new drug called Tygacil. It's so interesting now to hear about the how and why anitibiotics work against some bugs but not others, etc..
Hope, I was told awhile ago to not take Mr H!!! Some people in my class were in his lab and were complaining about how picky he was for lab.
I made a 96 on my first Clinical Calculations test! Wooooo Hoooooo!!!! :monkeydance:
GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what was the 1st test over? Is it just conversions?
I don't remember there being a lot if any conversions on the test. The first test was mainly a review of :
multiplying decimals
dividing decimals
dividing fractions (which I had totally forgotten how to do since high school)
multiplying fractions
rounding up and down
simplifying/reducing fractions
It wasn't really hard....some of the answers had off the wall fractions in them....and that always makes me second guess my answers.
I only had him for lecture. He had a dry sense of humor, but I liked him. He was not easy though.
My lab instructor was a guy that works in the lab at Redmond Regional. He was awesome.....very patient, soft spoken guy. I really enjoyed his lab.
Thanks for letting me know! I would think the most nerve racking part is knowing that you have to make a 90% or better. When I took computer science, you had to make a 70% or higher on all tests in order to pass the class. I had met several people in my class that was taking it again b/c they had failed out. I was SO scared at first!!!
