Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:
I'm confused though. The email that I got from Dr. Brock said that she would be lecturing on vital signs and assessment this week. The reading was over vital signs and assessment. But, on Vista the first lecture listed is talking about interviewing the patient. It has about 5 or 6 totally different chapters to read. ????
Ok, i know for the marietta group....Vital signs wednesday from one till four. If you ordered the assessment Kits at out orientation they are not in yet, but Ms. Amason is working on that. That will truly be hard doing vital signs without one, but oh well. Also, has anyone had trouble opening the power point or the links in vista or whatever its called now????? I cant and I dont like it. hopefully its not just me......Oh and this third online day sucks, my friend that just graduated had a fourth day of class and they went over that in a class. I dunno, maybe its just me but online sometimes is not my friend. I like good old fashioned lectures. But no reason to worry about that, it is what it is. Anyway, links, any trouble????
I had trouble opening the powerpoints at first. I clicked and then left it for awhile and it eventually opened up. It then took me forever to print them out. I put 6 slides on each page. I was thinking I was having trouble b/c maybe my computer didn't reconize the newer installation of software used...Try giving you computer a little more time to open it, like 2 or 3 minutes.
Oh and im also having trouble with some of the outlines, they are blank of content, like the vital signs one.....anyone else? maybe they are still ironing it all out since they got on vista a day earlier......
My outlines printed out w/the content. They are basically just a lot of bullet points that allow you room for your own notation.
