Hey!
I wanted to start a thread for those applying to Mercer's nursing program starting fall 2019. As of now, I know that the application has not been opened but they did say is should open sometime this month. I am on my last semester of prerequisites, which consists of microbiology and the lab and philosophy. I had my transcript evaluated last semester and was told my transfer GPA is a 3.349 and my science GPA is a 3.000. I highly recommend you guys get your transcript evaluated, especially those transferring! I have 2 years experience as a CNA in home care and 1 in the hospital setting along with some hospital volunteer hours. Share your stats, advice and questions. Good luck to everyone!

However, when I clicked the link it asks for user name for mercer and password. When I entered my username and password for the student portal (where you check the status of your application ) it said that username and password was incorrect. Does this mean I have been accepted and have yet to receive my credentials or I simply just need to verify my fasfa and call Mercer to ask them how to login to verify my fasfa lol. Has anyone had this happen to them?
Hey! i did my interview on Monday and the same thing is happening to me! What does this means?

Hope this helps.
Thank you for being available for questions.
Where have you had your clinicals so far?
Are you able to pick clinical sights?
What hours are your clinicals?
Are you in class 8-5?
Are your lecture tests online? if so, do you pay extra for the test taking sight?
Is it free to park on campus?
Hi Carrie!
They are going to tell you so much at orientation and in the weeks leading up to school starting. First week was busy and overwhelming because it’s nursing school and they’re prepping you for the intensity.
Clinicals: please keep in mind there will be almost 150 ppl in your cohort...and they are placing EVERYONE so wrap your brain around that now. First semester clinicals are for Fundamentals. I was at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Second semester was Med-Surg (I was at a LTAC) and Mental Health (Behavioral Health center in Griffin).
You are not able to “pick” your clinical site. The Professors will place you at a site...
First semester clinicals, you’ll be there about half the day. Second semester +, expect to be at clinicals the entire day! #gettinyouready!
Classes: times vary depending on credit hours of the class. Classes range from 2 hours to all day.
Tests:. All tests are taken on site at the school through a secure testing program. Bring your laptops! And the chargers!
Parking: is free. You pay for the decal so Mercer po-po knows who is a student/faculty/admin vs a visitor.
hope this helps!
