Hey! Just wanted to start a forum for anybody applying to this program for fall 2018. I have everything turned in and I'm just waiting for it all to process on the portal. I retook some science course after I dropped out of school for three years but managed to repeat all my classes with an a so my science gpa is looking like a 3.7 but it will be a 2.9 if it is averaged but I am not sure. I have 400 hours of volunteer service. 2 years of CNA experience. 1 year of managent experience ans I got an 85.3 on my teas first try. Feel free to share your stats or your anticipation! If I'm accepted I also would like to know my future colleagues :)
I've also applied for the Fall '18 but quite frankly I am getting more than a little stressed out and worried after reading only a couple of comments lol, sigh. I work in a hospital with 2 years CNA experience, I am also a certified PCT so I do PRN at a clinic where I triage and draw blood. 82.3 on the TEAS second time around. Currently 3.5 overall average. I pray to the Almighty I get in
I put my application in on Saturday and it went from incomplete to under review after speaking with Jordan today. Praying for good news! 8 years experience as MA working in family practice. Science gpa around 3 as well as overall gpa. Included letters of recommendation from the doctor and NP I work for and statement was good with an extra attention grabber.
No, she just took it April 24th. It's too late to retake it at this point. I feel like she might get an interview but I don't know for sure yet. It's her dream school so I do hope she gets considered :) If not, she's gonna look for other schools and apply to Mercer again. I'm sure she'll retake the TEAs later this year
So my final grades just came in from the school I'm at and I was wondering if I can send my unofficial transcripts through the nursing admissions email. Please let me know. I still haven't received my acceptance from Mercer yet and I'm thinking and hoping my final grades will persuade them towards an acceptance!

How long after your application was changed to "under review" did you receive a decision?
