Georgia baptist college of nursing/Mercer University Fall 2018

Hey! Just wanted to start a forum for anybody applying to this program for fall 2018. I have everything turned in and I'm just waiting for it all to process on the portal. I retook some science course after I dropped out of school for three years but managed to repeat all my classes with an a so my science gpa is looking like a 3.7 but it will be a 2.9 if it is averaged but I am not sure. I have 400 hours of volunteer service. 2 years of CNA experience. 1 year of managent experience ans I got an 85.3 on my teas first try. Feel free to share your stats or your anticipation! If I'm accepted I also would like to know my future colleagues :)

Anyone know a specific person to call regarding my application from Mercer? I was thinking Jordan Kelly but I have no idea lol no one is responding to my emails :(

I believe Jordan Kelly is out of his office until Thursday - I got an automated message from him saying that, when I tried to email him recently. I would just call the front office at nursing. I've called there before to ask questions.

I always emailed the asst director of admissions and she's super nice and always got back to me promptly! I don't really want to post names on here, but you should be able to find her easily! good luck!

Yes I have an interview. Just choose whichever day works best for you. If you're the type of person that doesn't like anticipation, choose the sooner date. If you feel you need more prep time, choose the later date.

Hi everyone! A few questions!

-Does it matter how soon or late you apply before the deadline, May 1st? Like do early applicants have priority or does this not matter?

-Also, how many times can you take the TEAS for Mercer and what score will they see/base admission off of

-What is the essay question/topic exactly?

-If we decide to send a letter of recommendation, are we allowed to get it from our recommender and send it ourselves or do they have to send it?

-^^^^ who/where do we send the letter/other documents like resume or volunteer hours

If you haven't taken the TEAS yet can we still submit the application with everything else? I know there's a page on the application where it asks you what you made on the TEAS and wasn't sure what to put
