Hey Evreyone! I just wanted to get a thread started for those who applies for GBCON's incoming class for fall 2014! I applied just last week and I'm excited to hear back from them! Has anyone else applied or heard back? If you don't mind sharing your stats as well (Teas, GPA) that'd be great too! I applied with a 3.35 and an 81.3 on my TEAS but I think I wrote a really good essay so hopefully that helps some too! I'm also thinking about retaking my TEAS.... I'd love to hear back from you all as we start this process! Thanks and good luck to you all!

So happy to find a Mercer applicant with similar stats as me!! I will be applying for Fall 2014 as well! I think I will apply after my second TEAS on Jan 24th. I took my first TEAS attempt today at KSU, and I got an 81.3 too! My science was the lowest score (75%). I haven't had AP2 yet, so the bio was my worst portion. My current GPA is a 3.48, but Fall grades haven't been factored in yet. I am half way through my essay...

Have you heard any news yet? What are average/acceptable TEAS scores for Mercer?

I am also applying to the program for fall 2014! I am just waiting for my fall grades to be sent to gbcn before my application is set for review! My science gpa is 3.33. My gpa with all other courses is 3.55. My teas is an 84%. Crossing my fingers we all get in!

Hello all! I am also applying for Fall. I am still working on my essay, but everything else is complete. I scored an 82.0 on the TEAS. I did not devote as much time to studying for it as I should have. I considered retaking it, but was told by admissions that it was not necessary. Since Mercer is the only school I'm applying to that requires the TEAS, I don't think I will retake it. Oh, my science GPA is 4.0, overall is 3.68 I believe, once fall grades are factored in.

That's really weird smontg17 I applied december 18, and got my acceptance letter december 26th. o.0 maybe you should call and check if there is anything missing with your file?

I won't even have a chance then.. My program gpa is a 3.4 i'm retaking ap 2 this semester done with all pre-requs already. Program gpa without ap 2 is 3.45. My teas score is also a 76. Do I have a shot? Congrats Manali92.

i know people who get in last year with similar stats to that, so i would say give it a shot! :) The gpa isn't low ( i dont think), idk what their accepted class average is for the teas. make your essay good, i know they actually give importance to that!
