Hello Everyone,

I am gearing up to apply for Fall 2009 at Georgia Baptist. I wanted to know if anyone else is applying there for Fall 2009 as well, or if there is anyone who has already been accepted and wouldn't mind sharing their credentials (i.e. overall gpa, nursing gpa, science gpa, if all prerequisities were completed, net score etc.) I am just trying to get a feel for the type of applicant they are looking for. Thanks so muc!

how many hours are you in actual lecture? Are there set hours for lecture?

Thankyou so much for your input!

Thanks all for the prompt responses! Maybe we will meet up sometimes Helen. I agree it will be worth the money as well. I live in tucker so my commute should be fairly easy. I am already looking up ratemyprofessor.com to see which ones I should try to get!

Yes, perhaps we can be study buddies! If you have facebook, look me up and tell me who you are/where I know you from. :)

I know it may not be the same for me next fall but what days are you taking these classes? Is it Monday thru Thursday or Monday thru Friday? And where are the clinicals at? Do you live near campus or at home?

Normally lectures are on Monday and Tuesday and then clincials are set up wed, thrs, or friday.. so you could have wed/thrs clinicals or you could have thrs/friday clinicals.

I was wondering if somebody from last year can tell me if you received your financial planning paperwork before your acceptance to GBCN? I received a letter yesterday stating that I need to turn in verification worksheets, w2's, etc... I thought you had to be accepted before starting the financial aid process? Any help would be great! Thanks.

I aslo applied for fall 2010 and I received the same letter. I called the fin aid office and the said they just liked to have it in early.

Fawn,

Have you heard anything yet about your acceptance? This waiting is driving me crazy, I'm seriously living at the mailbox!!

I am in the same boat as you, checking my mailbox everyday. The wait is killing me too! :uhoh3:

When did you submit your application? I submitted mine pretty early.

Did you apply to another other schools? Good luck, let me know if you hear anything and I will do the same.

I submitted my application around March 20th. How about you? I applied to Kennesaw fall 2010, but did not get in. Mercer is the only school I have applied to for the fall, but I applied to GPC and Kennesaw for January. I am just hoping and praying for Mercer... I will definetly keep you posted. Goodluck, I hope we both get in!

I submitted my application at the beginning of march. For fall I also tried for kennesaw but did not get in. For spring I did for kennesaw, GPC as well. Well hopefully good news will be coming our way soon. Would you be living on campus at mercer or commuting? If commuting, where from?

Oh okay. It sounds like you and I think alike:) I will most likely be commuting, I live in the gainesville/ cumming area. Will you be commuting? If you don't mind me asking, what is your cumulative, transfer, and science gpa?
