Hello Everyone,
I am gearing up to apply for Fall 2009 at Georgia Baptist. I wanted to know if anyone else is applying there for Fall 2009 as well, or if there is anyone who has already been accepted and wouldn't mind sharing their credentials (i.e. overall gpa, nursing gpa, science gpa, if all prerequisities were completed, net score etc.) I am just trying to get a feel for the type of applicant they are looking for. Thanks so muc!
Hello to all 2009 nursing students,
I recently got accepted to Fall 2010(Georgia Baptist). I am super excited and super nervous at the same time because I have a family. I do not want their life to be impacted too much. If anyone has a any words of wisdom about the new 2 year curriculum, I would be so thankful!

It is alot of work, and time consuming, but there are a lot of people in our class who are married and or have families to take care of. One of the things that I heard caught a lot of people off guard and was hard for people to adjust to was that for each class we don't just have one professor the entire semester.. normally each chapter is taught by a different teacher.
-- Make sure you get a planner/organizer.. it will save your life!
-- Try to do your readings as much as you can before class.. it really does help!
Congratulations on getting accepted! GA baptist is an amazing school with amazing professors.. it will be the hardest 2 years of your life, but it's completely worth it!
Good luck!!!!
Matt, I can't wait to be joining you guys next fall!! I'm finishing my religion and culture credit at Georgia State this semester. I decided to retake my nutrition class because summer's professor was crazy and I had issues with her and ended up with a C when I potentially could have gotten a B+ (long story).
Congrats abra80! My name is Helen Yi. I will be starting at GBCN in the fall of 2010 as well. :)
I have fallen in love with GBCN for various reasons and it is worth the tuition money I will go in debt for. I believe that it's all about time management and knowing how to study in a way that works for you. I know it's not advised but I am a certified nursing assistant so I am looking to hold down at least a half-time job or a weekend job somewhere while I put myself through nursing school. I'm hoping to lower my debt to below $25k when I graduate.
