  1. Hello all, If anyone has any insight about the cardiovascular nurse residency at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, I would be very appreciative. Thanks so much!
  2. how many hours are you in actual lecture? Are there set hours for lecture? Thankyou so much for your input!
  3. o.k, good to know. Yeah, any advice on clinicals the first semester would rock, like how many hours a week.
  4. Thanks all for the prompt responses! Maybe we will meet up sometimes Helen. I agree it will be worth the money as well. I live in tucker so my commute should be fairly easy. I am already looking up ratemyprofessor.com to see which ones I should try to get!
  5. Hello to all 2009 nursing students, I recently got accepted to Fall 2010(Georgia Baptist). I am super excited and super nervous at the same time because I have a family. I do not want their life to be impacted too much. If anyone has a any words of wisdom about the new 2 year curriculum, I would be so thankful!
  6. I totally agree with what smartmorgan said. I have been working in an e.r as a tech prn for 3 months. I hate asking patient care questions to nurses, I feel like they think I should already know that. I had no prior patient care experience or schooling. I hope to get accepted to nursing school this fall. I do have to say that the more I work, the more I learn, and the more I can better help the patients. I actually love the e.r, everyday I feel like I learn 20 new things! I think being a tech teaches you tons of patience, somedays you simply can not please everybody, but you try to do the best you can.
