Hello Everyone,

I am gearing up to apply for Fall 2009 at Georgia Baptist. I wanted to know if anyone else is applying there for Fall 2009 as well, or if there is anyone who has already been accepted and wouldn't mind sharing their credentials (i.e. overall gpa, nursing gpa, science gpa, if all prerequisities were completed, net score etc.) I am just trying to get a feel for the type of applicant they are looking for. Thanks so muc!

Yes, I suppose it is. It has been a few years since I went back. Atlanta Medical Center is a level one trauma center is it not? Also, is it true that Grady is closing its doors? Please let me know about both.

Atlanta Medical is Level II Trauma center, I love it there! As of now, Grady (level I) is not closing its doors.

i got my letter today!!!!!!!!!! i'm so happy and i can't wait to meet you guys!!

sandgroovy what are the hours for lecture? which month do we start our clinicals? do we get a lot of time in the sim lab before we go to the hospitals? is there store in atl where i can try on the uniforms? i want to try them on before i pay for them.

thats crazy. I am taking nutrition 3300 at GSU this summer. You are better off I promise. I started to take nutrition at GSU last spring and the teacher is a nut and I had to drop it. I am stuck taking it now with her again.

it looks like 3 days in the classroom. and 2 days in clinicals.....lectures are at most 8-3 everyday....tell me if im reading it wrong? can some one tell me what the clinicals are like...do we get a list of hospitals to pick from? and what are the hours?

Congrats on getting in. I have to take the NET this Saturday before I find out if I'm accepted at Mercer. But, Laura in admissions said not to worry...as long as I meet their minimum score requirement. So...we'll see! I'll let you know.

KSU is just SO hard to get into. They told me over 600 applied for fall and they only have 50 spots. Crazy!! I decided that I am NOT going to retake Organic Chem just b'cause I got a B (as I was advised). That's a waste of time and what caused me to look into Mercer. I thought about Ga State b/c it's cheaper and I have HOPE, but their program is 3 years.

Are you taking any classes at KSU this summer?

hey angela, did u take haseltine for 1152? and yes im taking a foreign lang. and cultures class, and an online abnormal psyc at ksu....i just got done with nutrition from highlands...I totally agree with the admission process thing at ksu..I got an interview last summer and was turned down so i was really demotivated after that and decided on mercer. but email me when u get ur acceptance and we'll make arrangements...([email protected]) do u have face book?
