Hey everyone! I thought I would start a new thread for those who have applied to the New Grad Nurse Residency at Georgetown University Hospital for the spring/summer graduates! I graduate in May and this cohort starts July 22nd if I get accpeted! The application opened up on November 16th and I applied right away, really hoping I get it. It sounds like it's a great program. I applied for the NICU, by the way! What units has anyone else applied for so far?

Hi! Could I have the link? It won't let me message you
hey everyone!! I applied pretty late and was just contacted from a nurse recruiter about forwarding my application to the floor manager for the SICU. How did your guys interviews go? Scenario based questions or just questions to get to know you as a person? I'm excited for the future! Fingers crossed

Hey! that makes me so happy to hear, I'm glad you like it I'm super excited to hopefully hear back soon and secure my spot ? are you from out of state or did you previously live around the area??

I’m originally from the area, but came back after college. HR helped me find roommates who were also starting out at the hospital and it was super easy!

Aw that's awesome! Do you mind me asking how expensive it is to live there? I'm from new jersey so I don't know much about the area!
