Georgetown FNP July/September 2014 applicants

Hi all,

I'm finishing my BSN this Spring and am currently in the process of applying to FNP programs... that being said... has anyone applied to Georgetown for the July and September cohorts and already been accepted? If so can you share your "stats" so to speak (G.P.A, experience etc.) Thanks!

I am also applying to the September Georgetown cohort. My BSN will be complete in August so I hope to just continue without any lag time. I am actually submitting my application today and am so nervous/excited. Have you heard back yet?

No, but I've been on the phone with the admissions counselors… They said it takes 4-6 weeks avg. to get a response… sometimes sooner if it is an "acceptance". Looks like we are in the same boat! Good luck to you!

I got accepted for the May cohort. I was told that they really look at the whole package. There have been applicants with 3.2 that got accepted and those with 4.0 rejected. Also, your science GPA is more important than cumulative. I was also told to make sure to have strong letters of recommendations.

I got accepted for the May cohort also, are you full time?
