I’m so sorry to hear that. When I talked to my advisor he made it seem like it’s not like we wouldn’t get in at all they just would help us become a better candidate to get accepted next semester. So if I don’t get accepted as well then we have a chance next semester and hopefully we get in. But still waiting. When did you get your email?

I’m coming up to the end of my first semester and just registered for my second semester classes yesterday.
I’m actually on vacation studying for an exam tomorrow haha. The program is tougher than I expected but there’s a ton of resources to help students out. I work part time and it gives me a lot of extra time to study. Some classmates work full time and I’ve heard professors say they can tell part time working students are less stressed. If you can work part time I would recommend it.

Awesome - thank you! I figured it would be tough, if I'm lucky enough to get in I think I'd try to start full time and go down to part-time, still trying to get some savings built up after my BSN LOL. Good luck with your exams!

Hi guys,

I’m in the process of applying to CNM/WHNP for the May 2023 cohort (don’t see a thread) and was wondering if I can get some advice with the application process. I’ll be a baby nurse (graduating December 2022) and haven’t really had a nursing interview except for new grad residency programs. What can I expect and what types of questions do they ask? Also, when applying am I writing multiple essays or just one?

Hi Maranda - same boat! I am graduating from an ABSN program in December and am also considering applying for May 2023. Nice to be in touch with someone else who is on the same path.

I've looked into the application in the portal and there are a few essays required, including a personal statement.
