George Washington University ABSN Spring 2020

Has anyone applied for the George Washington University (GWU) Accelerated/Veteran's BSN program for the Spring 2020 cohort?

I believe you have the option to defer for up to a year, so you could either defer to fall or spring. But I would contact them to confirm that. You can only defer once though. Summer cohort is smaller than the other cohorts, so that could be beneficial. I’m not certain, but it might be a shorter semester, unless they changed that. You don’t have any breaks in the summer (for example week of spring break in spring semester and in Fall a couple of days and thanksgiving).

I applied about two weeks ago and I have a message saying my application is under review. Did you get any other messages before you got your decision letter? Anyone can also jump in here.

When I had applied, I only got the “under review” message and then “your decision is ready to view” message when I got my letter. I kept logging in to check my status and saw my acceptance was there even before the “decision is ready” to be viewed email was sent out.

How long did it take for you to get a decision?

I applied for the priority deadline and heard back a little less than 3 weeks after I applied.

Hello! I was accepted for Spring 2020 but Deferred my acceptance until Fall 2020.. Has anyone been accepted into the Fall 2020 semester?

I did. Still waiting to hear back from other schools and more scholarships but it looks like ill be in the summer 2020 cohort.

Hi, everyone

I am very late over here.

I was just accepted to the Summer 2020 cohort as well as the Fall 2020 cohort (I applied for both to better my chances! ?)!!!

I wanted to see if anybody would like to share their experience at GWU ABSN program with me to help me decide and all. I am from California, so I am not so sure about the program's system/curriculum/reputation.
