  1. Is anybody looking for a roommate near campus/ what are people doing for housing?
  2. Is anybody moving closer to the city or in NYC. I’m moving from California and would like a roommate that is in the program to be able to focus better on school. Or is anybody looking for a roommate/know how to find a roommate?
  3. I’m definitely going to need to find roommates. I’ll probably post about it on Facebook in hopes of finding some people.
  4. I’ve noticed that as well. I’ve been meaning to call and ask. I’m going to call tomorrow and ask them a couple questions so I’ll ask them about that as well!
  5. I am also coming from California and am panicking about a place to live. Thank you for the information!
  6. I’m trying to find a place nearby with people that are also from out of state in the same cohort.
  7. It’s a very laid back interview. I had a group of about 15 people. They asked two questions and gave us a minute to write down a couple of pointers and then went in alphabetical order for people to answer. I believe you have 2 minutes to answer. The questions were very basic. Good luck!
  8. I deferred to fall. I couldn’t make it in time for the spring cohort.
  9. Don't be discouraged, it took me a while to get my interview letter. I had my interview on the last day of interviews and still got in. Does anyone know about housing in NYC? I'm going to be moving from California and was wondering if most people are going to be commuting to class or if some people are going to move closer to the campus. Thanks!
  10. I haven't seen one yet, but let me know when someone makes one! I've been looking at the GWU nursing facebook group for now.
  11. I believe that I was on a waitlist, because I got in only weeks before the Spring program even started, which is why I had to defer. My undergrad stats were not too impressive. I think I had a GPA of a 3.28. I did decently well in my prerequisites, but I think I had a strong essay. Maybe look at your essay and see what possibly could be changed? Congratulations! What other schools are you waiting to hear back from? I had to choose between a few, but I think that I am going to go with GWU. The program seems pretty good.
  12. Hey all! I deferred my acceptance to Summer 2020 and I am from California. I was just wondering what everyone is doing about housing or if everyone that goes to this school are local and normally just commute. Thank you!
  13. Hi all! I recently deferred my acceptance to GWU to the summer of 2020. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or received an acceptance letter to this cohort. Wanted to make a space for those that are going to be attending summer 2020.
  14. Hey! Did anyone defer until the summer 2020 cohort?
  15. Does anybody know what they’re going to do about housing? I don’t live in the area and was wondering if anyone needed roommates or had some information. They said the dorms are mostly undergrads and I would be rooming with people who just started college. Thanks!
